Her elegance struck me. Nadia, who is a well connected booker and club promoter, also writes for several international magazines. French born Nadia had lived in London and Tokio before finally settling to Berlin three years ago.

Andrew brought me back to work, and I am more than happy with this one. Andrew is known as a founding member of German band Einstürzende Neubauten. While we were shooting I got to know all about Beating the Drum, an amazingly ecstatic show with the audience drumming away to hypnotic beats.

Fleur is both a rebel and a dreamer. A combination I believe is at the heart of black music. If anyone translates the feel of soul into German, it’s her. Fleur Earth has a new band and is currently recording new tracks. Expect her album to be out this summer.

Dieter Meier is a great gentleman and we are proud to have him. Best known as the singer of Yello, he was in town to promote his Out of Chaos concerts in Zurich and Berlin later this month. We had a great discussion while shooting on a Friday afternoon at Paris Bar in Charlottenburg.
